Cead Mile Failte

Ohhh my feet... I just got back from delivering papers. Daniel wasn't feeling well so I did his route and mine. It was too much. First off I was thirsty about a quarter way through, then halfway through my lips were dry and I kept thinking about water. That was the only thing that distracted me from my aching feet. Oh well, I'm home now. I need to get a big glass of water...
Cead Mile Failte is Scottish Gaelic for "One hundred thousand welcomes"
Ow. My feet are really tender now. I must have walked around three and a half, maybe four miles today. Although four is stretching it a little.
Yup, I'm putting a secret message in this post. It's not the only post to have one. Check the others!
So I'm listening to Ann An Caolas Od Odram by Julie Fowlis. I had a part of this song stuck in my head for a while. I think my favorite song my her so far is My Love is on the High Seas. It sounds so pretty, and I really like the story it tells when translated. Ha, I don't know Gaelic yet. Listening to her music only makes me want to learn Gaelic more. Unfortunately my library is terribly lacking in Gaelic books. It's not exactly a common language to learn. Everyone picks Spanish or French. I want to learn Gaelic! Ah! I'm determined though. I've been searching the internet forever, and I'll keep searching!
Actually, only one other post has a midden message... as of now at least.
Speaking of which, I want to continue my progress in learning Gaelic. So this will be a short post. Mar sin leat! (That's goodbye in Scottish Gaelic).

Decision

So I have finally decided to seriously pursue learning Gaelic! Yeah, I've thought about it for a while. I really like the sound of the language. I also love singing Noble Maiden Fair. I've memorized it, and to the best of my knowledge I'm correctly pronouncing the words. Of course if I met someone from Scotland then they could be the judge of that. But yes, I've made my decision. It's not going to be easy, that I know. I still need to decide what type of Gaelic to learn, Scottish Gaelic, Irish Gaelic, or Manx Gaelic. Probably not Manx, so it's between Irish Gaelic and Scottish Gaelic. Ogham, which I want to learn to read and write, is of Irish origins, at least to the best of my knowledge. So yeah... I just don't know. We'll just have to see I suppose!

We finally went to the Weeping Willow premiere! It was so good, I liked it better than the actual Hunger Games (not that I'm a huge fan in the first place). It was a big event and I had to dress up. Yeah, not exactly something to get overly excited about. I borrowed almost everything I wore from Sereina, since I hardly have any normal clothes to begin with. Tiana and I got some of the casts signatures. I need to frame the picture now!

Afterwards we went to our friends, the McAndrews house. The Pletich's were there too. It was a blast. It was especially fun playing Signs. My sign, which looks like a mummy with their arms crossed, sorta became the defalt of everyone. I didn't mind, although when the game got going quick my mind would go blank. That's usually when I'd just continually turning the sign back to the same person over and over again. Later, after the Pleticha's left, we played Link or Linked or whatever it was called. It's a type of tag, where everyone up two people are linked in pairs of two. The "it" chases the other person and they can link onto one of the two people for safety. Then the person on the other side has to be chased. It was really fun!

Lauryn McAndrew and I got along especially well. We're like twins. Not in looks, but the way we act. All during the premiere whenever we made eye contact we'd get into a crazy face show off. It was just so fun, I wouldn't trade yesterday in for the world! It was crazy fun. Such a nice change from stay home everyday for the past... well, I don't know how long. For a really long time.

Now, I'm going to go continue my research to learn Gaelic. I've unofficially decided to learn Scottish Gaelic, but that may change. Who knows, maybe someday I'll learn both! That would be a really long time from now though... like, a really long time. I still need to learn one language, let's not overload myself. I do that all too much.

One more thing before I go. While we were at the McAndrews Matt mentioned Julie Fowlis's music. She did the music for brave, which I like, and now I've started listening to her music. I really like it! Ah, it only makes me want to learn Gaelic more!

...Okay, one more thing. In my blogging it's possible to tell when I've decided on the title before or after writing the post. If I address the title in the first paragraph, I decided on the title before writing. Otherwise, I choose it after. Okay, seriously, I'm going to go learn Gaelic! *Squee!*

False Alarm

So my dad went to the library, but the book wasn't there! First it wasn't on the shelf, so then we went to the front desk to ask about it. Apparently they looked around but couldn't find it. So I don't have the diary yet. Man, I was really looking forward to reading it too. I guess I'll just have to stick to the other bunch of books I have. Darn.

Yeah, that's all for this post. I just wanted to alert you that it isn't here. I was so excited too! I guess I'll just have to wait some more. I wonder how long though. It took almost a month for them to get it "in" this time, so who knows how long it will be until I actually get it. I hope I get it soon, because I really, really, really, want to read it.

Now to Get it...

*Unintelligible screaming of complete and utter elation* Oh my gosh it's here! It's here, it's here, it's here! I need to go to the library! *gasp* When can I go to the library? Ahhh, it's here, here, here! It finally arrived after over a month of waiting. I get to read it, I get to read the actual diary, written by Olga Nikolaevna Romanova herself! I get to read her diary because my library got it in and it's waiting on the hold shelf for me right now! It's here! Ah, I'm so excited! This is making me so happy and I can't wait! I need to find out when I can go to the library!

*runs off to find out when it's possible to visit the library*

Today! Daddy's going near the library today and he's going to pick it up for me! I don't knew when he's leaving or when he'll be back. But I will get The Diary of Olga Romanova today! I'm so excited, I'm sure once I get it I'll be completely glued to it. I mean, it's her actual diary that she wrote with her own hand! Okay, sorta. This is a print version and all, but the words were written by her! Ack, this is so exciting!

So I don't remember if I mentioned this, but I stopped doing Camp NaNo. I got to a little over ten thousand words and then just didn't feel like writing. So I figured it'll be fine if I don't finish, it's only Camp NaNo, not the actual big event. I don't know if I'll then next one in a couple of months or not.

We watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone last night. I really liked it! I can feel myself becoming a Potter Head. :P That's what Harry Potter fans are called, it's that a funny yet cool name? So yeah, I haven't read the book(s) yet. The library is taking forever. Neither has Sereina. But we're just going to watch the movies anyways. It's funny, all through the movie I kept calling the guy with the long black hair Voldemort, because I though he was him in disguise. I really don't know hardly anything about Harry Potter. My sisters probably know a bit, they follow some people who make these boards and stuff. I follow very specific boards, and there's only one person that I don't know in person that I follow all of them. Mostly I use Pinterest for stories, not too much else.

Oh, it sounds like Daddy might be leaving soon. And if he's leaving that means when he returns he'll have the diary! Oh this is awesome! I've always loved reading The Royal Diaries. Granted, the fictional diary was about Anastasia, not her oldest sister Olga. But it's her diary. Oh I'm so excited, I can't wait!

In the mean time I'll have to keep myself occupied. Daniel and I have been playing Schleich a lot. I got another new one, first off I got the Schleich Golden Retriever puppy. I named him Rory, and then I realized something funny. This puppy has a brother named Willie. So it's Rory and Willie. Or, if you will, Rory and William. Ha, that's awesome! See, Rory William's is a character from Doctor Who. This was completely unplanned. Well, the name Rory was. Daniel was messing around and said I should call him Custard. Then I thought of fish fingers and custard and then Eleven, and finally Rory. The name fit very well too! Second, just yesterday, using money from my spend now budget, I bought a Schleich lab! I named her Cassie. She's my first lamb. I almost got a white tailed buck, but I didn't have very much money in my spend now, so I figured cheaper was the way to go. Although I mostly collect horses and dogs I also have started collecting farm animals. I've got two cows and calf's, a goat and two kids, some chickens, and now a lamb. I also want to collect wildlife animals so I can have a forest around the farm. So far I've gotten a moose.

Oh yes, so you know that show I went to a while back, Odysseo by Cavalia? Well I was looking through my book I got about the show, and I thought, why not make my own little Odysseo show out of Schleich? The company sells Bayala Schleich, they're like Pegasuses and unicorns and winged fairy people. I think they'd be perfect to be like performers! So now I really want to get a few Bayala riding sets. Fred Meyer's has some really beautiful ones!

Well, I'd better go. I think I'll see if Daniel wants to play, or maybe Tiana. I can't wait to get the diary!

Sonny Joon Wuz Here

So I was going to wait to post until I had pictures, but I just feel like posting now. I suppose that you're now wondering what I would need pictures of. My latest project! Two days ago I started making a Schleich barn, yesterday I finished it. I love it so much! It has two stalls, tack/feed room, an area of fresh wood chips, and a washroom. It's so awesome! Today I started another project; a house for my Schleich people. They've all been living in the hayloft for too long. There's a lot more cutting of sticks with the house, so it could be a while before it's completely finished. I'm planning on it being a two story building and maybe I'll add an attic. We'll see. My other house is at a stand still because of lack of supplies.

Oh. My. Gosh. I just watched the trailer for the latest Nancy Drew Game #30 The Shattered Medallion. It looks amazing! I want to pre-order it now! I mean, just ack! It looks soooo cool and action filled and awesome! SONNY JOON IS IN IT! The legendary Sonny Joon is in this game! I'm so excited!

Sometimes I just don't understand cats. Doji was just bugging me, jumping up on the table and purring and stuff. I got him to eat the rest of his food and he still bugged me. So I followed him, guessing that he wanted outside. He walked down the hall into Tiana's bedroom. Yes, he had me follow him into her bedroom and up onto her bed. I just don't understand cats sometimes. But they're so cute anyways!

Tomorrow is Easter, but since Sereina is working we're having Easter dinner tonight... wait... did I already say that in a different post? Maybe. Hmm, I don't remember. In any case, you know now! I'm so excited, we're having ham! Technically I'll sorta be splurging, because all the ham is cured with sugar. But I have to splurge. I love ham so much! It's right up there with meatloaf. But that's the end of my splurging. I don't even let myself have ketchup because it has sugar. Potatoes just aren't the same without ketchup. Unless they're mash potatoes! Ha! I love mashed potatoes, they rank up there with the meatloaf and ham. Pretzel rolls (and actual soft pretzels) are up there too, but since I can't have them I try not to think about them.

Daniel and I watched, what I'm guessing to be, the season final of Legends of Chima. It's a Lego show. Daniel and I love these shows, especially Ninjago. In Ninjago I love watching the character progress. There's actually a lot of character development for that kind of show. In the first two episdoes (the first season is just two episodes... it's like, whyyy?) Kai meets his soon to be best buddies, Zane, Cole, and Jay. Then they have to save Kai's sister, Nya. They're so cocky and don't work well, but through the episodes they become more responsible. It's also really funny. I love the latest episodes. The Serpentine are back!

I'm learning Morse code. I already know around ten letters of the alphabet, but I'm nowhere near being able to understand it if someone transmitted something to me. Even so, I'm working towards it!
..   ._  __   __.  ___  ..  _.  __.   -  ___   _..  ___   _  ....  ..  ...
I    a    m    g      o     i   n    g      t    o      d     o      t   h    i   s

See, I wrote a message in Morse code! I have it translated for you already. I'm going to admit, I used a chart to get some of the letters. But I know A through J with a few others mixed in. Like I know SOS in Morse code. I learned that years ago. But yeah, awesome, right?

Busy Day Today

I'm glad I don't have to do any school today, though I like doing school. I've been out practically all day, and I'm just tired and hungry. Today I've eaten, a small bowl of chicken noodle soup, a few pieces of dried apple, two Trader Joe's honey mints, and half of an Izzy (the drink, you know what I mean?). That's everything I've eaten. I feel terrible. Not because I hardly ate, I mean yeah that's part of it. But I didn't eat until like twelve, and that was just the Izzy drink, then it was way later when I finally had food. Even so, my body is telling me to eat... ohhh, meat. I have an enourmous craving for our homemade chili. It would have nice, huge chunks of meat. Man that sounds good. But all the chili leftovers are gone. So I'm just here, sitting in front of my computer, writing a post on my blog.
I think I'll start putting secret messages between posts. I wonder how long it will take till someone notices!
Today I bought a Schleich! Originally I was going to get a Lego Star Wars Micro Fighter, but Fred Meyer's was out. I headed over to the Schleich section and was that they were all twenty percent off. Okay, but get this; I ordered a Schleich puppy that I hadn't ever seen in stores. One that had at the beginning of this year, been retired. But of all times, there it was, the puppy I ordered, sitting there. Of course I didn't get it, but seriously? The one time they get it, I already ordered it (speaking of which, it finally shipped yesterday... or was it today?). So yeah, back on topic. I got a Schleich Appaloosa foal. It looks more like a yearling to me, so that's what it'll be. It's a girl, and she's so cute! I named her Nez. Get it? Eh, probably not. The first Indian tribe to ride Appaloosa's was the Nez Perce. So yeah, I though it only fitting. Guess where I got that tid bit of info? A Nancy Drew game; The Secret of Shadow Ranch to be exact. I love that game. I know it all by heart. In honor of my getting Nez, I'm pulling out all my Schleich model stuff I've build and I'm going to play with them. I need to brush up on all my Schleich's names and stuff. I got like, twenty Schleich at once, when a friend was selling hers, so sometimes I can't remember all of their names. But I know almost all of them, and I own one hundred and twenty eight of them!
A really long time I bet. I mean who's going to highlight the post for any purpose other than copying it?
Of all days. Of all months; of all years, it had to be overcast during the blood moon. It was overcast. I couldn't see a thing. Not even the faintest glow of the burning red moon. Just clouds. It was very disappointing. At least there will be another this year. I think. And then I think there should be two more next year, so let's hope it ain't overcast on those days.
Well, to whoever does find this little hidden secret, please leave a comment! Hehe, this is awesome.
AH! I'm behind! I didn't hit yesterday's par for Camp NaNo and now I'm behind! Oh the horror! ( <--That's a quote, can you guess what movie it's from?) Okay, it's actually not that bad. I've just got around... six-ish hundred words to write today. Ha, hardly a problem. My daily minimum during November was one thousand six hundred and sixty six, this is child's play.
I wonder if I should hit at this? Maybe very subtly, then again it should stay secret forever!
Okay, I just watched a video and now I'm going to tell you about it. It was a girl shooting peeps. Yup, she got her .22 rifle and lined up around 22 peeps and shot them, to see how many it would take to stop a .22 bullet. Take a guess. Okay, you guessed? What do you think? Well, the answer is 3 and a half. That's how many peeps it takes to stop a .22 bullet. How cool is that? Now, you have to tell me what you guessed in the comments. I demand it! Ha ha ha! :P
This is just awesome. I could leave a message to my secret spy friend... if I had one. Or maybe I do! :P
I finished reading The False Prince! It was really good, and at the end I just kept freaking out, sorta. I mean there wasn't a huge amount of things to freak out about, but *spoiler zone* I kept thinking, is Sage actually Jaron? No, he can't be! These thought's are just part of getting into the part. But wait! He is! No, he can't be. It's a trick. HE IS! So yeah, it was just craziness. I just didn't know what to think, whether Sage was actually Jaron and not just playing a part. *end of spoiler zone*
I should write something really important or cool, so finding these will be really special. But what?
Things have been going slowly with Magix. I'll admit, I'm loving this MIDI cable. It helps so much! But what I really need now is a good tune in my head. I just have to remember to start slow. Arg! I can't wait till I finally post a song! Until then, I'll just keep playing around with Magix. I'm bound to make something soon. The program is so huge, so many possibilities. Hmmm... maybe I'll use it just to post a video of me playing a piano song I know. I mean, I just really want to post something. Yeah, I might do that. Maybe. Or maybe if I make a really short song, that maybe even doesn't count as a song, but more like apart of one, maybe I'll post it anyways. I dunno. We'll see.
I suppose I'll figure it out eventually. I don't want to leave anything out from my post though.
So after watching Alice in Wonderland it kind of makes me want to read the original story. I read the original Little Mermaid story. It was sad, and didn't necessarily have a happy ending. Well, it did put it didn't. It was also painful sounding. Whenever the little mermaid walked (she doesn't have a name) it was like walking on the tips of knifes. Yeah, talk about sore feet. She could never return to the sea as a mermaid (unless she stabbed the prince with a special knife her sisters got from the sea witch, by giving her all their hair). So yeah, interesting but sad. I still haven't read the original Snow Queen story yet, but I'll get around to it soon.
Maybe I won't do this every post. It'll make it more special!
I'm tired, so I think I'll try and hit par real quick and then head upstairs and see what's for dinner. It took forever to find something quick and easy in the stores. First we went for pizza, but there's sugar in it! Then we went for pre-cooked chicken, but there's sugar in it! Seriously, there's sugar in everything! It's ridiculous, what is wrong with America? There's sugar in things that totally don't need it, at all. Yet it's there. Going off sugar is harder than I thought, but it's good for me.
I could leave a URL in here, then it'll take you to a funny video or gif or something!
Oh my gosh I just watched How Frozen Should Have Ended! It was soooo funny! They did a Frozen, X-Men Mash up! Ah, hahahahaha! Seriously, go watch it! Unless you haven't seen Frozen. In which case, go watch it. ;)
Here's an interesting fact, two of my posts have the same title. They were some of my first posts, go see!
Okay, I'm going to head upstairs. I need everyone else to watch How Frozen Should Have Ended. Ditto.

That's Life

Oops. Haha, um, yeah. Oops. A lesson people, never leave dead batteries inside your clock for a really long time so they can erode and get flaky green and white stuff in it, possibly making the clock never work again. That's exactly what I did. See, I've got a lot of clocks, and all but one of them needs batteries. They all died (except one) and I left the batteries inside them. Today my dad said I should pull the batteries out of my non working clocks, meaning pull out practically all the batteries. Luckily only one clock has eroded batteries. I didn't pull out the button cell batteries in some of my smaller clocks, but my dad said he doesn't think they erode. I hope they don't. Hopefully that clock will still work; there's a chance it might!

Tonight is the blood moon and I'm so excited! It's like an eclipse, but the moon turns red instead of disappearing. I hope it's spectacular! I've always wanted to experience a full solar eclipse! Think about it, pitch black in the middle of the day! Totally sounds like something I'd put in my stories. But back to the blood moon; doesn't that just sound awesome! Maybe I'll try and take pictures! My camera's old and not the best, but it's worth a shot! I mean, this doesn't happen everyday you know.

The last couple of days I've taken a break on writing Prev. since I'm ahead. Well, I'm no longer ahead. I've got to write a little under two hundred words to pit todays par. Haha, I laugh at that. Hah, such a little about of words. A mere paragraphs worth really. Although my personal goal for today is to reach ten thousand, the halfway mark. I'm just under one thousand words there, so I may as well! Then maybe I'll write on True Hero, although I've been wanting to reasearch more about royal life. I've been collecting all the questions I want to find answers to; so many!

Last night we watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time. It was... interesting. I sorta liked it, in some ways. Alice was sorta dull though. I don't mean to be rude about it, but her character was too calm, even if she though the entire thing was a dream. Hatter looked weird, but he was kind of cool at the same time; I mean he's mad! Johnny Depp played him, and he did a pretty good job, although Hatter looked really weird. He's really good at accents. Throughout the movie he had different accents. I liked the Scottish one best. I love the sound of Scottish accents. :) The cat (I forgot his name) was kind of cool. A lot like a real cat. Oh, and Alice's armor at the end was pretty cool! That's what I call proper armor! Although what was up with that chain mail skirt? Wouldn't that just be extra weight that would make it harder to fight? Eh, oh well. It was still cool armor.

Oh yeah, all through the movie I kept wonder what time period it was supposed to be when the movie started; before Alice fell down the rabbit's hole. The reason is her skirt was high, like showing her entire feet. At one point in history that was absolutely scandalous! (Definitely isn't today) Did you know why the skirts got higher? I don't know a whole lot, but from what I've read it was because of ballet. Originally only men did ballet, it was a mans thing, not proper for women. Eventually women got to got it, but their skirts either made it hard to dance, or people could see their feet doing the intricate movements. Something like that anyways. So women wore their skirts higher, which at the time was crazy talk! So yeah, only ballerina's wouldn't done it at first. So that sorta drove me crazy. Since I'm not an expert I couldn't tell just by looking around at other peoples cloths (their skirts touched the ground, the way it should have been... I think).

Today's date is 4-14-14. Yeah, not entirely sure why that's worth of being in my post. But it's just fours and ones. So um, there you have it. Today's date!

Yesterday was so busy for me. First I woke up and read The False Prince until I had to leave to deliver papers (it's really, really good so far and I really like it!). Two-ish hours later I got back home with sore feet and I was tired and hot. Then about ten minuets later I had to head out and Daniel and I helped our neighbor weed his yard for some extra cash. Finally I got a break, but later in the day we cleaned out our garage. Everything below my knees ached unstoppable, even when I sat down I got little relief. Even so, it was a good day. A very hot one too. Especially when you're sitting in the sun pulling weeds.

Gosh, I've been failing at keeping up with the laundry. It's my job this week, only because I failed to do it last week and the week before. Oops. Oh well, I'll try harder to catch up this week. In fact I should go do it right after I finish this post!

Tomorrow is the next episode of Agent's of Shield! Oh my gosh I can't even... This show! It's... amazing. I can't wait till tomorrow! Sereina isn't working the closing shift, so we get to actually watch it tomorrow!

Anybody else here kind of like ancient Egypt typed music? I'm not sure what that genre called exactly. But one of the songs in the album of Brunuh Ville's that I got is called The Imperial City. I really like the sound of it, and I love the setting that I get pictures of in my mind!

Well, I should probably go. I've got things I need to do. Maybe I'll work on Magix a little today, clean my room up a bit, finally cut out and post all those pictures on my bedroom wall. One thing's for sure, I have to hit par for Camp NaNo.

It's That Kind of Day

I am determined to hit 10,000 words today! Oh, I'm taking about Camp NaNo. I did a lot of writing yesterday, and I'm ahead of schedule. None the less, I continued writing today and I've only got one thousand words to go until I'm at ten thousand. So that is my goal for today. I've already written around one thousand words. So that's a lot for one day. I need to write this much for True Hero! But since I've been doing Prev. I've taken a break from that.

So my Camp NaNo goal is 20,000 words, but I doubt my story will be even near done when I hit that word mark. I've barely started the story, so to speak. I'm in the middle of the city battle. It's going... okay, I guess. Not the best, but not overly horrifying. I just have to remember, no editing. So yeah. I've officially just ended chapter two for Prev. so when I start up writing again today I'll be on chapter three! They're fairly large chapters, the third one starts on page fifteen exactly. I love having lots of pages of writing!

I added a prologue to Prev. Originally I wan't going to have one, but it just sorta fit so I went with it. It's a sad prologue, because it's when the main characters parents die. But they need to die for pretty much the entire story to take place. I mean if they didn't it would sorta work... eh. I could have had them die during the city battle, but I don't' want that because I don't want any characters to die so close in. Well, unless you could a few legion soldiers, one of my characters shot two of them, so they're dead. But that's beside the point. They have little to do with the plot and were only in the story for a few paragraphs.

So finally, I've used my MIDI-USB and let me tell you, I looooove it! It's so fun... makes things wayyy easier. Of course I haven't made a composition yet, but I'm working on one right now! Well, not right now. I'm blogging right now. Then I'll probably cook dinner. We're having chili for dinner and I'm cooking it.

Is it really two already? Wasn't it just morning? Haha, I suppose it was. I work up and brought the keyboard down to my room and I almost haven't left it since. Other than to eat, I've been glued to my chair, working on Magix and writing. I suppose I could do more, but I'm just feeling really inspired! I've also been working on a specific blog for my history collection stuff. Eh, it's complicated and I don't know exactly what I'm gonna do. Things are changing so I won't take time to explain just yet, because then everything will probably change again.

Never thought I'd say this, but my fingers are tired of typing. Like I just want to lay down and read. But as you recall, I said I have to make dinner. Boo. Oh well, someone's gotta do it! Maybe just a short rest... Ahh, if felt good to lay down there for a few seconds, even if it was on the keyboard. :/

We get to watch Agent's of Shield tonight! Yeah, yeah, yeah, Agents of Shield, yeah, yeah, yeah, it rocks, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's incredible, yeah, yeah, yeah! Hehe, ever seen a sentence with more commas? Doubt it. The best part, they are supposed to be there, in case for some weird reason you didn't know that.

This next episode is going to be sooo intense. *Sorta spoiler alert* Who can I trust? Coulson of course! But, what if they blocked something from his mind, and he remembers and then... and Sky? Yes, I can, I can... oh man. What is she's bad? I mean she is an 084. Agent May? Eh, I halfway durst her. Ward? Not sure. Fitzsimmons? I trust them with my life! They are amazing I love those two! If they're bad, ooo I'm going to explode. Now as for the Shield lady with the red highlights, I never liked her to begin with. But here's the question, did Shield order them dead, or is she a bit crazy? Ahhh the questions! *end of sorta spoiler alert*

Ug. The library, though they bought The Diary of Olga Romanova, still hasn't gotten it in. I'll bet it's shipping from China and will takes months to get her. I can't wait months! I want to read that book so badly and I... I can't even explain how badly I want to read it. I'd better be good.

I smell popcorn. Actually, for once that doesn't really sound good. I'm not really hungry. Oh well, I'd better go make dinner. It's almost three so I really should. I've got to go cut up a bunch of raw meat and we don't have any rubber gloves. See, I'm not afraid of touching raw meat. It's not really disgusting to me. It's just having to scrub my hands for like, five minutes, because of all the gunk that gets on them. That's why I like to wear gloves.

Fifteen pages... I have fifteen pages in Prev... I'M SMOKIN' IT! The realization just sorta hit. It's like when I was writing my NaNoWriMo novel and I hit pages ninety. I have ninety pages of words I wrote. Granted, it's embarrassing to read, but I wrote it all the same. I don't really want to read it for some time, but I wont delete such an accomplishment. I like to keep all my writings, even if they are complete failures.

Okay, seriously. I'm going to go and cook dinner now. Chili awaits!

Wiritng, Music, History, Nice Day, Ahh!

Ahhh my gosh I have way to many options of what I should do today! My MIDI-USB cable finally arrived, so I can hook the keyboard up to my laptop and start composing with more ease than before! Yet I'm having inspiration for Prev. so I should do that and yet I really, really want to start a new blog, which I will link to MAE history, for the collection of info on Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov(a). (I don't think I actually figured that out. Botheration!) And now today is shaping up to be a nice day out, and it has the potential of being a, I have to be outside all day kind of day. Okay, time to organize my thoughts here.

I cannot compose outside simply because I cannot bring the keyboard outside. But the MIDI-USB arrived and I haven't used it yet! But the history, it calls to me! Oh! My library got in The Diary of Olga Romanov! Yes, yes, yes! I can't wait until I can pick it up! I want it now! Ug. Guess I'll have to wait.

Oh, there should be a new post on the, The George Brothers, soon. I wrote a post, and it just needs a little tweaking before it goes out in public. So yeah, that's exciting.

I forgot how much I love the song, King of the North. The drums are awesome, and the parts with the vocals sound really nice. Overall I really like this song! I can't wait till I compose something like this... arg, I need to compose. Write. Compose. Write. Compose. History! Arg. Decisions.

So we finally got food. Thank goodness. I sorta had a meltdown the other night because we had so little to eat and I couldn't eat half of that! For those you you know don't know, I am allergic to gluten, so that makes my options limited. On top of that I'm not eating any refined sugars this entire month. I already slipped on accident a few times, so I determined not to again! So I can't have any bread, or ketchup, or mayonnaise, etc. I can't eat most food. So I have a lot of smoothies and yogurt. I try and fit in vegetables and of course there's dinner. Actually I'm really glad I'm doing this. It's helping me to not snack as much, since I can't have pretzels, they have sugar in them. I have a tenancy to snack all the live long day. This, so far, is helping me to not eat as much. Which is good, cause I know I was eating a little too much before.

Oh, another thing I could do. Two actually. I should read! I got The False Prince from the library, and I'm also listening to an audio book, Keeper of the Grail. I should read those. But I also printed out the some of Aesop's Fables. Among those is the original story of The Snow Queen! I want to read that! I just read the original stories of Cinderella, Little Snow-White, and Rapunzel. They are actually kind of violent. Gruesome at the least. Of course I've seen worse on television, but somehow reading about it makes it a little worse. Sometimes. It depends on how it's written. These were not too bad. So yes, what to read!

Erm, I said two things I could do... what was the second one? Okay... okay, I'm going to remember this... ah! Post pictures on my bedroom wall! I printed out a bunch of pictures related to a bunch of my stories, and now I'm taping them to the bit of wall behind my bed. I'm making my "special place" because I got pictures and then I can set up some speakers and listen to music or audio books and since it's a bunk bed I can hand a blanket up and make it into a small fort! The only downside, I got an arm bed. Hehe, sorta. Not really. I just can't sit up. I'm still kind of wish I could have a taller bed. Especially since I spend so much more time on my bed now. Oh well, I can't have it all, can I?

I should write a book review! Arg, to many things to do! I can't decide whether this is glorious or lecherous! There just isn't enough time in the day to do everything! Okay, here's the plan. I have to hit par, so writing takes priority. The MIDI cable is new, so that should also take priority. But! Should it become nice outside then I should bring my laptop outside and alternate between playing, possibly listening to an audio book, and writing or working on MAE history. Yes, that sounds like a good plan. I want to try and be outside in the least, even if I'm still on my computer. Although I'll try and do other things, a lot of my projects have to do with the computer.

It's almost ten. I want to eat. Haha, see what I mean? But I could. Hmmm... I could write, hit par, and then make music for a little bit before or after I eat. Ah, too many options! Okay, I'm going to write now. Lets... lets just do that. Okay. Good. Breath. Write.

A Very Nice Day

Ahhhh I'm sooo hot! I have no idea why.

Today has been a really nice day. This morning when Daniel and I went to let the chickens out and take care of them it was so nice, I couldn't stand to stay inside. I quickly got dressed and headed out. I cleared off the back deck and made it a really nice place to be. Then Tiana and Daniel came out and we played Star Wars. Tiana was a jedi master, and Daniel was a padawan. I got to be an awesome bounty hunter with some mad skills too! I was usually on my "rocket boots" meaning I was roller blading the entire time. My feet hurt so bad afterwards, but it was so fun.

Afterwards when Mamma and Daddy left somewhere Tiana had to go inside to prepare some packages to ship. She's been doing really well with her business, Red Berry Supply is booming! I wish I had a business... Oh well, at least I've got a paper route!

Daniel and I headed back into the backyard. We brought out my laptop and listened to music while doing our school. I had to work on Prev for Camp NaNo. I hit par, and so far everything is going well! It's turning out better than I thought. I'm already of chapter two. It's about... six pages in? Roughly around there. So yeah, everything is going so great! Maybe I should work on True Hero soon... I've got a little editing to do on chapter one... or should I just move on? Ug, I really want to edit but I really should move on. I'm going to be stuck at the beginning forever! Ah! Choices...

Then we did some coloring. I did almost an entire page. Of course I always color horses, they're the funnest. And they're the only type of coloring books I have. I always scan the photos in, then print them so I can do the same one over again. Makes one coloring book go a really looooonng way.

You know, I've got this board with all these novel writing tips. I should actually read them. Some of them make sense, while others, not so much. Such as eliminating the word, suddenly, from your writing. Sure, in a few instances it words, but a sentence can usually work without it. If you say suddenly, then the reader is prepared for something to happen, something different, if you know what I mean, Then they aren't quite as excited.

Captain America The Winter Soldier is out, and I can't see it in theaters! Boo. Money actually isn't the problem right now. I mean, sure, I'd need to wait until I got my next check, and I'd need to do quicken. But I could see it. I think. It's just that no one else really wants to see it. Thank goodness Tiana and Daniel will be coming to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 next month. It's only a month away! A month! Spidey we're gonna see you in theaters!

In case you cannot tell I'm a huge Spider-Man fan. Never ask me if I like the new or old movies better. I can't choose because they are both different and both incredible for different reasons.

I've got a few new superheros favorites! First off I've become a enormous fan of The Birds of Prey! I mean come on! Oracle, Huntress, Lady Black Hawk, Black Canary, Hawk and Dove are in it. I think that's everyone. I'd give you a short bio about everyone, but it would turn into a long bio and then this post would be way too long for anybody's good and you'd be here all night. Hmmm... maybe I should make a superhero blog... no. I'd better not. I've got to many blogs as it is.

Back on topic, I love The Birds of Prey. Daniel was watching Batman The Brave and the Bold, and Canary and Huntress teamed up with Catwoman to help Batman, who thought he was a gangster (it's a long story). Anyways, they ended up having to sing a song about The Birds of Prey, to keep their cover. Sorta. Eh, you had to be there. Well, I like that song now. Actually, when it comes to The Birds of Prey I feel bad for Hawk. He's the only guy in the club. I suppose that's why I like it so much, girl power!

Poor Oracle. She's crippled, she cannot walk. But she has incredible brain power. She like can't forget anything. Her wheel chair is also kind of cool, so it ain't all bad. She was Batgirl at one time. I think she may have been the first one. She's Barbara Gordon Batgirl!

Natsukashii Pronunciation: nats-ka-'shE (nahtzkah-SHEE) - (adj.) of some small thing that brings you suddenly, joyous back to fond memories, not with a wistful longing for what's past, but with an appreciation of the good times.

That is a word I found on Pinterest. I really like that word. It's Japanese and I just really love the meaning. Somehow I must bring that into one of my stories. Although it would have to fit. I have a terrible, terrible tenancy to bring unnecessary things into my stories. Erm, sorta. Like, I mean it could fit, but I just want to cram so much into every story... eh. But yes, Natsukashii is a very cool word. Pinterest is a great place to find interesting words. I've made a board specifically for interesting words and their meanings. It's called, Words are Life. Because to me they kind of are.

Well, it's late. I'm either going to have to go to bed, or I'll watch a short show, then go to bed.

It's All Cool

So we have finally met the McAndrews! It was actually two days ago when we met, I'm just getting around to posting today. They're a lot of fun and I look forward to meeting them again. We all wandered around a bit, we went to this... old oil or gas factory place that shut down who knows when. Then we wandered around there for a bit, had lunch. Oh, we played Ultimate Ninja. I totally failed, as usual. Then we played freeze tag for a little bit. That was fun. After all that we went to the locks. Lauryn and I kept wanting something really exciting to happen. But nothing did. Overall it was a really fun day!

My dad found the coolest thing ever on YouTube. It's a channel called Simon's Cat. It's a huge collection of hand drawn animated cartoons about cats and how they act. They are soooo funny! We've had one for the longest time, the cat waking up the owner because he was hungry. It's so actuate! Whoever does these must have a bunch of cats and he must have had them for a long time. The video's a funniest if you've had a cat, and so you've experience much of what happens in the videos.

Oh yeah, I finally bought new ear buds, so now when I listen to music and things I'm not lopsided. Yay! That had started to get really annoying. But now it's all good. It's all good. This time they're cobalt blue, instead of pink. Did I already tell the story of how I got pink ear buds? I think I did.

Last night daddy and I were working on our top secret project! Hehe, it's gonna be awesome when finished.

Ah, Doji! Not again! He's on the counter. Now he's not. I just fed him. Let's hope that'll satisfy him. Based on his track record, probably not.

Oh gosh! I need to write for Camp NaNo. Because I was ahead I took a little break, but now I need about four hundred words to hit today's par. Usually, now that my goal is 20,000, I have to reach six hundred something but I got ahead. I told about that in the other post. So yeah, I'd better do that soon as I'm done here.

So I just recently read the original stories of Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Little Snow-White by The Brothers Grimm. I already knew this, but they were kind of violent. Gross is more the word. Although I have to say, I like a lot of the aspects of the original Cinderella better than the Disney version. I love the Ever After version. But yeah, I wish they'd kept it a little closer to the original story. Although one thing was confusing, where was Ella's father during all this?! He didn't die, so I'm guessing he just stood by while his daughter was put in servants clothes and made to cook and clean and stuff? That's sad. But I liked Ella's character through the entire thing.

I also read one of Aesop's Fables, The Nightingale. I really liked the story, and now I'm planning to read The Snow Queen and The Little Mermaid soon. I would just love to read the original stories and now I can! The Nightingale was not kind of gross like The Brothers Grimm's stories, which was nice.

Speaking of reading, I just started listening to an audio book. This is something I rarely do. I prefer an actual book because when I'm listening to a story I sometimes zone out and miss things. But I decided maybe if I do simple projects, coloring, latch hook, while I listen then maybe I can concentrate. I'm on chapter five... I think. So far I really like it. The book is called Keeper of the Grail. I gotta say, because of Indiana Jones I've become sorta interested in the Grail. I love the Indiana Jones movies, especially the third one. The music is just... ahh! Love it!

Well, I'd better go hit par. All my typing here is doing me no good for Prev.

Meatloaf, It's What's for Dinner

Mwahahaha, more meatloaf for dinner! >:D This is the second time this week that we're having meatloaf. I'm not complaining. I'm celebrating! I love meatloaf, it's one of the most amazing foods ever! And... er mah gersh, mashed potatoes! I get to make mashed potatoes! Ah, this dinner is going to be amazing! Mashed potatoes are the best thing ever!

Okay... I seriously need new ears buds. Because listening to music just isn't the same. Looks like I might be able to get a new pair today. Sereina said Fred Meyer's had some nice ones of sale for ten dollars. That sounds good. I've actually got money to spend! I've got eleven dollars in my spend now budget. I love that budget. See, all my money goes through the system, meaning I put it into five different budgets. One of those budgets is my guilt free spending money. I love, love, love that budget because when I go to the store I can just buy something and not be like, should I? Maybe not... I just like, that's what the money's for! I can also use it to load my Star Bucks card. I love their frappuchinos.

Here's an interesting fact about myself. I love all things cold. Like I had ice cream on my birthday, and I was born in December. It'll be in the middle of a cold winter, maybe even snowing, and we'll be planning to go out for a walk and I'll buy a frappuchino. A nice cold one. Yup, I just really prefer cold drinks.

So, I changed my word goal for Camp NaNoWriMo. I thought, I'll save the 50,000 word goal for November. I changed it too 20,000 like Tiana is doing. Because I was at par for 50,000 I am now way ahead of par. I could take a few days off and it wouldn't be a problem. Of course, I'm not. I'm going to keep writing because the sooner I'm done the better. Actually, I think 20,000 might be a little short for this story... maybe. Really there's no way of telling until it's finished. So far it's going good though, I'm on page six. I wrote six pages in three days! Yes, I feel so accomplished! I always seem to get more writing done when there's a big "competition" like this.

Okay, I just modified Let it Go, as the Washington version. "The rain never bothered me anyway!" That's like... my motto or something. Seriously, the rain doesn't bother me. Haha, that makes me think of one time. We all went to Historic Flight and it was raining, like really, really hard. I decided to stay in the car with my mom and run to the building after we parked. Haha, oh boy. The parking lot was like a river and there were areas on the ground with water shooting out of them. They were storm drains... er, something. I don't know. But water was shooting out of them in a fountain about two feet high. I stepped out of the car and no joke was soaked in three seconds. My hair was drenched, my jeans soaked through, my shoes like sponges. It was ridiculous. Other than the fact then I couldn't dry off and was really cold it was fun. The hanger isn't exactly the best place to dry off. Oh yeah, and that stiff feeling you get as you start to dry off. When you're soaked you're fine, but once you start to dry off you just just a stiff feeling. It's hard to explain.

I can't wait to get the office room... Soon! I hope. It's so much bigger, and I have a feeling I'll be spending my mornings on the back deck, reading or writing or something. It'll be awesome!

I finally ordered the USB-MIDI! I think I already posted this! Okay, I don't remember. But yes, I ordered it and it's on it's way. Along with a retired Schleich I want to complete my Golden Retriever family. It's a cute little puppy. He'll be Willie's brother. I wonder what I'll name him... something similar to Willie, but not too much. Eh, we'll see. It'll probably hit me once I get him.

Yogurt for Breakfast... Again

I forgot to post yesterday... it was April fools day in case you forgot. I sorta did. Oh well, I'm posting now, right? Haha, I could have done a joke like, I'm not going to post anymore, bye forever! But then it would have been an April fools joke. Netflix joined in the fun, they posted a show that consisted entirely of watching bacon sizzle. Oh, and a friend of ours, Maxwell, posted on Facebook about an Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser. But the link led to a video of some guy dancing. Haha, that was a good one...

I haven't been posting as regularly lately. Huh, I'm not sure why. Well everything's good people, everything is good. Actually, something exciting has happened. It's April! That means it's Camp NaNoWriMo month! That's right, a way more relaxed version of NaNo happens two months during Spring and Summer. I'm using this month to try and get a prologue for Prev (did I every say that stands for Prevlion? As the The War of Prevlion?). So yeah, that's exciting. My word goal (I got to choose it!) is 50,000 words. Yeah, the same as November. I almost changed it, but I already got my cabin and I like them. One or two of them are Whovians! See, during Camp NaNo you get to join a virtual cabin. Eight people get this message board to talk to each other, encourage each other and help each other get ideas. It's pretty neat. You don't have to get a cabin, but it's fun!

I have a horrible tenancy to spell "each other" as one word. Lately I've been actually looking at words I constantly misspell so I can write then correctly the first time. Like "believe". I always had a hard time remembering how to spell that. I know there's other words too... I can't remember them. But I remember how to spell believe as be-lie-ve. I say that as a word, so it sounds funny. But it helps me remember!

So I have decided to not eat any refined sugar for this entire month. Little did I realize that the only bread I can eat has sugar in it. Ug. But I'm determined to stick too it! The only refined sugar I'll have it grape juice. Now there's an explanation needed here. The grape juice we get doesn't have added sugar, but grapes are already so high in sugar that as a juice they almost act like refined sugar (I think I got that right). I need to drink grape juice... well, sorta. I put raw apple cider vinegar in it, then drink it while I plug my nose. It's the only way I can drink the stuff! It's really good for you, and it's important that I drink it. So that's the only "refined sugar" that I'll be eating (Drinking. :P).

Ah, Tiana is here. We're going to work on our novels for Camp NaNo. Let's hope I make it through day two. Eek!
