Learning is Awesome

Sereina bought the Doctor Who soundtrack from... one of the seasons. Season two I think. Yeah, now that I think about it, it's defiantly season two. It's got Doomsday in the soundtrack. That's a sad song.

Today we have been taking down Christmas decorations. The tree is bare and almost everything is on the dining rooms table, or in boxes in the living room. Away with the Christmas stuff, hello snow!

Why does it always snow after Christmas? I mean, yeah we had some snow a few days before Christmas but still. It's always in January, February. Then comes Spring.

Because of the Magix program I have grown a much greater appreciation of cellos. Seriously, they make music amazing. Also, listening to music has become research. The best research ever!

I've taken to studying The Doctor's character. His character is an example of a very good character, mysterious, hurt, funny, I mean he's everything. It's all a good mix and it makes me strive harder for better characters. Now when I watch movies and read books it's all about the characters, music. It's all research.

Gosh, I'm beginning to like research. I never really liked it when it was, sit and read a book about stuff I'll forget. But this, it's so much better. I feel like I learn more and it's just awesome. Completely awesome. Now every time I read a book I'm like, I want a character like that, or when listening to music, I love the piano and cello mix there. I'll make something like that!

Before when I watched movies I never though about music, it was all about. Well, honestly I don't know what it was about. But now it's all about learning. Gosh, I love this kind of learning. I want to go compose a song now.

I've been trying to learn to literally make my own music. Like, creat my own loops. It's... complicated. But I know I can, it's only a matter of time. Because I'm not letting anything put me down. Now for long at least. I will compose!

So again, my post includes the usual. But I'm talking about research and learning with it. So it's not just a hobby, it's school you might say.

A Long Post

Ah, music making is so hard! I mean, I knew it wasn't going to be lickety split, here's a master piece! But even so, it's a very complex process. But I want to make a song that's epic now! Something like, I am the Doctor, or the Sherlock main theme, or like pretty much every song from Frozen! I suppose it could be a while...

Speaking of I am the Doctor, can I just say, that song sends shivers down my spine. It's so amazing, "fantastic!" ;) epic, incredible! So is the Doctor Who theme. I might make a song of that style on Magix. But then again I want to do fantasy stuff, something like Victorious, or Dragon Peak!

So, what should I talk about now? I mean, my mind is completely fixed on music, soundtracks, compositions, composers. Pretty much everything music. It's also on my story a little bit.

My story! Ek! I'm running out of steam, darn it! I've been so fixed on this program I've completely lost my writing momentum and now I'm practically at a standstill. It feels like I'm barely able to scratch words onto the page. No, not writers block! Not the old prison house again!

Okay really I'm being a little dramatic there. But sometimes it does feel that way, when you can vividly remember the rushing feel on inspiration as you type at a thousand miles per hour, making a work of art and actually feeling like it's not junk!

...So... writing and music. That seems to be almost all I ever talk about... I really need to get out more.

That's why I'm making a first ever New Years resolution! Am I suppose to capitalize resolution? I mean, it's sorta part of it and... man I don't really remember anything from that grammar class. Oh well, I know enough to get by, right? I think... I hope...

Tonight we are planning to watch a few episodes of Doctor Who! Yay, yay, yay! I get this crazy happy smile when we get to watch, it's just so... fantastic.

That's another thing I talk about in almost every post. Doctor Who. Okay, to whoever reads this, listen, on YouTube, to I am the Doctor. Tell me it doesn't get you in this epic mood where you want to experience some epic moment. Or write about an epic moment. Seriously, it's great inspirational music.

Sereina is going to buy the Doctor Who soundtrack! Whoo hoo! It shall soon begin, the ceaseless listening to soundtracks! From the movies/tv shows, Doctor Who, Frozen, and Sherlock!

Speaking of Sherlock, it's almost January 19th! I want to know, so badly. Come back, tall us, show us. And John, ditch the mustache. Sorry, but it just isn't you.

I wonder... I think I might see how I can personalize my blog even more. Maybe have the words, Bad Wolf strewn in a few various places. Have a picture of the TARDIS, get something to do with Sherlock and a thing or two about Frozen. I mean, this blog is called Alina's scrapbook. Scrapbooks have pictures, right? So there, a perfectly justifies reason to do that. I can't wait!

You know, sometimes I wonder... do I start paragraphs unnecessarily? I mean really think about it, sometimes I just don't know. But I guess it never hurts to start a new paragraph, right?

Well, this post is getting pretty long and there's a bucket of old food waiting for me to take down to the chickens. They love our food, especially rice. They love rice. And bread.

So my last words, listen to I am the Doctor. Very inspirational and perfect for writing.

Almost Forgot

So, I opened this document thingy to write a post and what do you know? I get caught up in my writing and almost forget. Silly me.

I've been thinking, I might change my trilogy back into one book. Yet making it a trilogy could still work. But not in the way I had thought. I'm kind of sad to change it and yet I can totally so how it would be for the better. It would been immensely better actually, but I shant forget you Rihanna, Will, Rene or Bianca. You're always there and you know what? I Someday I'll write your story. Only I think I'll give you a pal Will. I mean, being surrounded by girls? In war? Somehow that just doesn't go very well, does it?

Merry (late) Christmas! I know, I missed Christmas! But can you blame me? I mean, I had so much to do, ham to eat, smashies (mashed potatoes) to eat, ham to eat, smashies to eat.

I know what you're thinking, what about presents? Well, we have just about one tradition in our house and that is to never open presents on the same day. I mean, it's not really a tradition but we've opened presents on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, Christmas eve day, a week before Christmas (we were going somewhere over Christmas and it would have been a huge hassle to bring the presents with us).

Yum, smahsies. That sounds good, only it does to everyone so they didn't last a day. At least there's ham. I love ham, it's one of the best foods. Better then ice cream or cake. I know, better then those two? Yes, I can be weird that way.

Well, my music making has been going... slowly. See, I love it, the program, the sound loops. But it's very difficult to makes a smooth flowing song. My hat's off to you Adrian von Zeigler. How you manage to post a new song at least once a week I'll never know. At least not in the near future.

Finally, it's Arrived!

It's here, it's here, it's here, it's here, it's here!! More later! :D :D

Okay, a little more now. It's installing. The box was smaller then I thought. It was addressed to ME!!!

Part fifteen of seventeen is installing. Oh, how can I wait? It's finally, finally here and I so excited! IT'S HERE!!!

No Package Yet...

That's right, it's not here yet. The tracker says it's in Seattle as of two days ago, yet it still isn't here. I mean, some on! Well... technically the track says it'll arrive tomorrow, Christmas Eve.

That brings another topic to my attention, Christmas Eve is tomorrow! Already, I know. Can you believe it, Christmas is almost literally around the corner. Well really it's never around the corner because there's no physical corner. I also know that I really didn't need to say that because it's stating the obvious.

I like that... those words. Stating the obvious. Makes a person sound smart.

Two paragraphs starting with the word that. I seem to do that when I'm just babbling on about nonsense.

Saying babble made me think of the word hubbub. Then it made me think of a part of a book, 'I like that word, hubbub. One of the better things we got from the Scots.'

I have no idea if I got that right, but it's from the Royal Diaries book about Elizabeth I. A person that I talked about in another post so I'll not talk about her again... for a while because she's really cool.

I'm at a Loss, Titles Escape Me

One seven eight three. One thousand and eighty three page views. In total. Wow. That quite a lot. Unless it counts when I visit my blog... then it's not that amazing. :P

Today is gonna be a busy day. We had a spur of the moment invite to a friends house. Okay, technically it was two days ago that they invited us. But that's just it, we always plan ahead. For everything. So when it's a two days in advanced thing it's kind of neat!

Tiana and I had a video chat this morning. I totally forget but when I woke her up she looked at her clock and was like, we have a video chat in ten minuets.

My fingers feel like they're flying form key to key as I type. It's a strange sensation, I'm not quite sure if I like it or not.

I finished chapter three on one of my stories. Hehe, it's going pretty good. Although (small spoiler here, don't read it if you haven't read the third chapter, of which I've posted on the LOL forum. Don't worry, you can read the next paragraph) I feel kind of like... I just don't feel like I've got Katie's character right. I mean she sounds... ignorant? I might have to change that, but I'm not gonna fret, that's what usually holds me back.

My package, of which I keep mentioning in a lot of my posts, arrived in Seattle yesterday. A little before two. Sadly today is a Sunday and they don't give mail of Sundays. So yeah, I can't get it today. Maybe tomorrow. Although the tracker says Christmas Eve so it's hard to say when.

I have a habit of capitalizing the wrong words. Simple ones such as it, or is. I'll constantly do It or Is. I wonder why?

We're going to be leaving soon. In maybe a half an hour.

I'm thinking I might learn a new song on piano. The thing about that is, if I learn a new one I'll have to practice so many songs to keep them fresh in my head. Like He's a Pirate. I remember until about the middle. Then poof, it becomes a puffy white cloud in my memory and it takes a lot of wind to get it out of the way. :P

Cookies. We have cookies and Sereina is eating one. Should I eat one? I don't know... they taste good although they're slightly overcooked.

So It Begins... and Tumblotwit

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I totally agree but this made me wonder. How much is a gif worth? I mean, isn't a gif a bunch of pictures that make a choppy video that's really short? Sometimes it's just video... I think.

What has brought my mind to gifs you may ask? My friend Emmaylns blog. It's called No Rush. I have no idea why. It's a great blog... thing. It's a tumbler, twitter, blog thing. Oo, lets smash those words together.

Tumblotwit.

I like it.

Of course that's one of many variations that could be made. That makes me think of the smashed word ho-ney or porse. Words that are suppose to describe the middle between a horse and a pony. It's size that matters, so what happens when it's in the middle? It's a ho-ney. I don't say porse. It just doesn't sound right.

The word/contraction isn't. Ever thought about that word? "Translated" it means, is not. So when I said, 'isn't a gif a bunch of pictures' I really said, 'is not a gif a bunch of pictures.' So I'm speakin' old English! Am I right?

Another thing about Emmalyn's Tumblotwit, which is awesome by the way, she uses block paragraphs. This has been something that has been brought to my attention as of late. I think I'll start doing that on my blog. It'll make my posts seem way longer then they technically are. But it's good grammar. I think. I've taken grammar classes (okay, one) and I never remember anything said like that. But I'm just so used to doing a story format that any other way feels clunky and unnatural.

Why do Cyber Men come to mind when I say this?

Which brings another topic, wait, two more topics to mind. See, I'm thinking I might start using gifs. That'd be fun. There are some great ones out there. But at the same time it just doesn't fit. Maybe with a Tumblotwit, but maybe not so much with my blog.

But think, instead of talking about Cyber Men I could have posted a gif. That would have been fun. But it just doesn't feel my style. So... I'll think on it.

So begins, the large spacing between paragraphs. Now I feel like my blog is going to feel like Emmalyn's Tumblotwit. Why? Because we both just post stuff, like what I'm doing now. If I add gifs it'll really feel like her Tumblotwit so maybe I won't.

I said I had two topics to talk about. Well I forgot the other one.

Oh, looks like leftovers for dinner. Wait, no. There's new food. It's just not ready... or is it?

Well, I think I'm going to go edit my other posts, to match the block style paragraphs I'm doing now. So really it will not seem like I changed anything to any new comers. Until they read this post.

Snow and a Dalek

It snowed last night. The weather channel was right for a change, that's not common. :)

When Tiana woke me she was like, "Get up, wake up, it's snowing!" and I was still half in dream world and I was like, "I know!"

See, I was having this dream and the aliens from The Christmas Invasion (Doctor Who) were our allies and some other aliens were going to attack earth. They were going to destroy them but I wanted to stop them. In the dream it was snowing and I was in a blizzard, the car I had been in was sliding around the streets.

Everywhere there were these aliens, our allies, and they all demanded to see identification or they'd capture me. So I would, and one of them was like Bannekafalata, at least he sounded like him and was short like him. Another was kind of like another creature who's name I cannot remember.

The name, Bannekafalata is pronounced just how it sounds. Just though you might like to know that.

Page thirteen of True Hero and all's well. Meaning, I've still got inspiration so it's going great! I love it when I can ceaselessly write and I don't feel like, well this is rubbish.

I'm not feeling good. But I better get better, our friends party is tomorrow. Okay, I know you're going to read this so, it's the Yackel's party! Whoo hoo, you've made an "appearance" on my blog. ;)

Snow is awesome, don't you think? It so... powdery. Oh, that reminds me. Tiana and I buried our frog statue things. On is playing a guitar and the other a trumpet. They're almost completely buried in snow. Originally it was going to be a snowman with them hidden inside, but the trumped stuck out and it began to look like a Dalek. Another Doctor Who creature. Well, we made a Dalek. It's not the best, but you can tell what is it. We even made sure to put the Dalekanium on it. :)

Now all I can think is: EXTERMINATE!!! EXTERMINATE!!!

Well, I think I'm gonna work on my story. Don't want to leave everyone hanging to long! They might fall off. ;)

Just Had to Post This One Last Thing

Okay, I just Goggled, when will my package arrive. Yeah, I was being crazy. :P

But then, it showed up saying it had record of my buying the program, telling me that only I could see the info. I clicked okay and it showed a... think saying when I purchased it, how much it cost, a link to the Amazon tracking sit and estimated delivery. I had no idea Google did that. That is awesome. Goodness, thing things you learn... :P

I started chapter three of True Hero/Unharnessed Power. Hehe, it's going well. I'm not releasing any major spoilers, but lets just say, tragedy has struck.

I guess that's it for my second post of the day. Can you believe I almost wanna redo my blog again?! What's up with me, it already looks cool!

Poems = Why?!

Ug, I'm writing a poem for the LOL forums daily Christmas challenge, I came up with most of it, it flows real well, but the rest? Ug. That's all I can say, ug. Here, I'll show you what I've got.

Moonlight shimmers
on waters below
covered in frost
covered in snow

An icy prison
for those below

Then bam! Nothing. It flows real good, even fits with a story idea. Sorta. But I'm stuck on the last two verses on the second stanza. Ug, just ug. Seriously, it's going so well but then my mind is like, I'm not going that easy on you, what do you think I'm here for?

Okay, off the topic of poems. Although I'm at a blank as to what I should write. That doesn't happen often, although I'm sure I'll think of something.

Ah, yes! Like Pinterest, these people keep pinning these pins, of my gosh they're so awesome! But they don't fit under any category so I just pin them on my inspiration board. Bo-ring.

Whew, there for a second my spell check didn't know the name Pinterest. I mean, seriously? Everyone knows about Pinterest except you, spellcheck. I think I had to put it there in the first place, uncultured spell check. :P

I'm... tired. That's strange because I'm usually a night owl. Last night I was up past midnight, I just wasn't sleepy.

Hehe, I'm gonna work on a different book for my historical fiction-ish series that I've yet to start... long story. Now I'm excited... but at the same time it just... doesn't work. I mean, how can the main character start off by going to Egypt? That'd be awesome but it would be nice to know more about the character. But then I could talk about "the project" between Beverly and a co-... person. That why the next book would tie with the first. Ooo, I'm getting a vision here!

I think I need to talk to myself more often. I get idea's that way. It's like talking to someone without having to explain all the details. Although talking to other people helps so much because they think differently. So I need to talk to myself and other people more often. Not that I don't talk to people, I'm a chatter box. When I'm feeling chatty. Which is always. Except when my cat is missing. You'll notice how short those posts were.

AHHHH, I, why? Why can I not think of a good way to end the poem... and not keep it super short. Short poems... almost aren't poems, you know what I mean? Okay, deep breath here. I think I'll work the poem. So farewell and I'll post again soon. I work tomorrow so... maybe tomorrow.

Oh yeah, tomorrow is most likely my last day of work. They're moving really soon so, here it comes. The end of a semi steady cash flow. Eek. It'll take some transitioning. Being the only kid in the house not making money. I'll get by though, CAUSE I'LL HAVE MAGIX MUSIC MAKER 2014 PREMIUM!!! On Christmas Eve. Maybe. It's coming via USPS. We all know what that means.

It's Bloggin' Time!

I'm back, whoot! Gosh, I'm really enjoying posting now. I took on my own style and bam, I'm on it like everyday!

So I'm considering trying to figure out how to have music on my blog. But if I do, what music do I put on? Oh, I have an idea! Once I get Magix Music Maker Premium 2014 I can put my own music! If that's possible. :) My program is coming from Phoenix Arizona!

Speaking on Phoenix, did you know one of my favorite mythical creatures is a phoenix? Along with Griffins, Pegasus and dragons.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. We're having a tea party! Okay really I'm not huge on tea party's, I don't even drink tea. Just juice. :) The food is good, most of it anyway. I don't care for cucumber sandwiches, but that's just me. ;)

Tomorrow it will be one week since we found Koko. I'm so glad we found him, it's just... I don't even want to think about what would have happened if he was still down there. I'm already amazed that he survived five days with no food or water.

Eh... I just started two paragraphs with the word Tomorrow. Oh well, it's only a blog, not a novel! :D

Hehe, because of the font my smileys are distorted and the :D face looks falsely devious. :)

Our tree is strange, it leans. Not because it's not straight. Because it's... It was growing upwards, then like... I dunno, decided to shift to the side so it's... explainable. Ug, the word every writer detests. Like when you can't describe a face (at least no without taking up a couple paragraphs and boring the reader :P)
Yes, I'm listening to the Frozen soundtrack while writing this. It's so amazing, right now it's all I listen to.

Doctor Who is awesome! We just finished season three last night... sniff. Sorry to see you go Martha. I liked you. But hello Titanic! :P The Doctor accidentally crashed into the TARDIS into the Titanic. All I'm wondering, who's the next companion gonna be?

Okay before I leave may I say, if you haven't given it a try, watch Doctor Who. It's a si-fi show, just so you know. It's good. But DON'T start on season two. Start with season one, you need to know about Nine and Rose. You need to watch them all in order! Hehe, it's just an awesome show, can ya tell?

I Did It!

I bought Magix Music Maker Premiun 2014! I got it half price (boo ya!) and it should be here around Christmas, that's what is said anyway. I have no idea where it's being shipped from.

Alright, books. I'm going to talk about books. I usually don't plan what I'm going to say but I'm going to rattle off a few good books. Like The Misadventures of Maude March by Audrey Columbus, I love that book, it's so good. And there's a sequel! :D Let's see, the Heartland series by Laura Brooke, some of the best horse books I've read. There's another horse book call The Wild Mustang, I think. Something like that, but it's really, really good. One of the best horse books written because it's not a lame story.

There's almost Steel Dust, it's really old but it's pretty good if you like cowboys and cooks who tell long story's. :P All the Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I own a really nice copy with all of them, they're so good! I mean, they could be considered boring by some, but I like them! I can't wait to get to The Hound of Baskervilles, or the one where Sherlock "dies". Did you know that Doyle originally did kill Sherlock off but all his readers begged for him not to die so he continued the stories? Cool, huh?
Okay, new topic although I do read more then just those. :P

It got cold here and the pond froze in really think ice. But it melted before I could measure it. I'm pretty sure I could have stood on it though. I mean, I was stamping my foot on the ice and barely managed to crack it, and the next day it got colder!

Now the cold is gone. I've been writing a bit lately. I mentioned in the other post a story I just started another story. Yeah, another. That's not a good habit, but I do so love to make new characters! So far I've written a prologue and the first chapter, although I wanna do a tiny bit of adding on because the first chapter is a little short.

It's so weird adding chapters, I never usually do that. I'll just wait until the end. But adding them makes me feel more accomplished before I've written the entire thing.

I can't wait for the Music Maker to arrive, it's going to be amazing! Playing around with it and making compositions with instruments I could only dream to ever play, oh it's gonna be epic!

You know, I can be very good at turning conversations back to the same topic. When I'm talking to myself at least. Hehe, I'm going to be raving about this program forevah!

In any case I think I need some time to relax. I'm not feeling the best today. Writing is relaxing, right? Ha ha, okay, maybe not. But sometimes! So I think I'll write a little, maybe read. Just chillax.

Because That's Why

I suppose it never hurts to write everyday, although most people post once a week. Not me, why wait, I say? If you have inspiration or stuff to write about at least.

I'M SO EXCITED, because today, I might be buying Magix Music Maker 2014 Premium! That would be incredible, I just found it for a super deal, HALF OFF!!! It's normally $100 but now it's $55.89

Yeah, not exactly half, but close enough. I'm so excited, I want that program so badly. I cannot wait until I can compose, it will be so fun!

Plain yogurt with strawberries and a bit of honey makes a good breakfast.

Me loves ma prologue. It's improved, thank you people on the LOL forum! I love it when I get feed back, edit, then feel even more accomplished.

Okay, I'm taking a break from The Silent Spy novelization, that one is a bit... advanced? Besides, I felt an urge to play/write, Ghost Dog's of Moon Lake! Of course, it cannot be put into a window format so I'm using Arglephump's walk through as a guide. He's awesome, even though he did the beginning a bit out of order. :P

His commentary is the best, so funny. His comments and when he pretends to get freaked out. Or when he did a full on scream right into your ears! I've watched most of the new games that I won't get for a long time because they cost a bit and I'd rather wait to get them cheaper. Besides, playing alone you don't get his commentary. Although I've started to hear what he could have said in my mind when I play sometimes. :P

.......Chocolate it good.

Well, I've got things to do, books to read, Quicken to do and novels to write!

Oh, the novel, Falcon in the Glass is pretty good so far. I'm at part two, really interesting. TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE BIRD CHILDREN..........Yeah, it's pretty good. Every once in a while there's a sentence that I'm like... yeah, that's... nice?

Seriously thought, I've got a life to live. But I will post again. Maybe today. Or tomorrow. Whatever suits me at the time.

One Thing To The Next

Oh yeah, I'm feeling good. My writing exercise just turned into an epic prologue to a story idea I had a while back. I totally didn't intend it that way. But that's what happened. Oh it turned out so brilliantly, perfect.

No really it's got rough edges. But my first drafts are improving in quality. I've done minimal editing and I still feel really good about it, that's progress for ya!

We kids watched a few episodes of Doctor Who this morning. We're taking a little break now. Gosh Doctor Who is awesome, I don't want Ten to end, but I want get to Eleven so we can get to Twelve!

WHA! I just discovered, if you hold down control and press B on the keyboard you start writing in bold. It turns bold on. Awesome! I gotta see if I can do anything else!

Control I turns on italic! Lets see here, Ah ha! Control U turns on underline. I'm on a roll here!

Okay, good thing blogger saves a lot because I just closed this tab. Oops, but I'm back!

Hehe, the things you can discover.

Tiana is watching Star Wars, episode four. Or just four as we'd say. But no body else would get that, now would they?

Hehe, Did It

Ma blog es derfernt.

Sorry, could refrain there. :P But seriously, my blog is different and I like it. Of course it's not major change, I mean it is, but it sin't.

Oh my gosh the Frozen soundtrack is so amazing! I'm listening to it right now, ahhhhhh!! I love it so much! The movie, ahhh, it's just so awesome! Epic. It's epic. Now I want to compose my own music. But I'm currently too poor to buy the program to do that. Not for long. I hope, I wanna compose!
I'm just going to say it outright, Adrian von Ziegler, and Brunuh Ville, you inspire me!

Ahhh, epic part in the song. :)

Erm, I just made the screen shift on my computer. Weird. I hope I didn't mess anything up. It was by pressing a button so I'll be able to fix it if needed, I hope. :/

FYI, to anyone reading this, Disney's Frozen is an incredible movie, family centered, has a twist and is just. Wow, it has an amazing soundtrack, memorable fun characters and a wonderful story line. It's so amazing that I saw it in theaters twice. I NEVER do that. I hardly go to the theater. :)

Snif, sad part in a song. :'( Wait, wait, it's getting happier! Yes, yes, amazing soundtrack!

Sorry about the music stuff, but I'm just speakin' my mind so I guess it's alright. :P

Redo?

So, yes Koko is back, YES YES YES!!! :D :D

Seriously though, I was thinking I might redo this blog layout a bit. I dunno, change things up, see what do dads I can add and all that stuff. That will be an adventure cause I don't know much about blog designing stuff.

Speaking of adventures, I started the first draft on book one of my trilogy. So it's... not that great. But hey, that's exactly what first drafts are, right? A very detailed outline is how I think of them.

I'm getting excited here, I wanna redo my blog, although I'm going to have to take down the missing posters of Koko soon, so it might become pushed off or I'll have to stop in the middle and the blog will look really weird. So be warned. >:)

I'm Freakin' Out Right Now, Kokopelli is BACK!!!

Koko is home! I'm so happy, I'm freaking out!

For five days he was under the neighbors house, we just got a call literally ten minuets ago. I just, I'm freaking out, he's home! I've never been so glad to hear his deep, LOUD meow before in my life! :D :D :D

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes, he is home. Home for good. He's back. Forever. He's fine. Hungry, but fine. He's SAFE.

I was hyperventilating as we walked over. Maybe I'll write the story tomorrow, I'm freaking out to much to do it now! :D

Again, Still Missing

Koko still hasn't turned up. I keep hoping that he's locked in a garage. But someone not going in their garage for three days? A bit unlikely.

I really hope someone just saw him in the cold and thought, I'll take this cute boy in and pamper him. But even the hope of that it getting a little thin.

Mostly I hope he didn't get curious about someone leaving their car open and is either locked in a car, or someone drove him far away and he's wandering around looking for home.

I want Koko back, I miss him so much. Life just isn't the same without him. No loud purring, or his deep meow.

Still Missing

Koko still hasn't turned up, I'm getting really frantic. Inside that is, sometimes I feel panicky other times I just feel like he's going to be right there.

We've got posters all over the neighborhood, we saw kids coming home from school and looking at them. With any luck he'll be home soon.

Titles are Hard To Think of

Ha ha! I'm back, and only a few days have passed. Take that!

I saw Frozen for the second time today, it's still amazing. The theater gave everyone Olaf pins, that was neat. Then after we stopped at Barns and Noble. There I bought a bookmark that says, Keep Calm I'm The Doctor.

Yes that is so awesome right? Doctor Who is awesome so that is awesome.

Cake. I get cake today. Chocolate cake. Home made chocolate cake.

That was really strange because I hardly ever write small sentences. I have a habit of making... wow, fairly good sentences that don't run on and, wow. I always thought they were cheesy, but then again when I get on a role they all start with a word ending in ly. So it goes both ways.

Crimson Skies. That game comes to mind of a sudden. Indeed, a fun game that can be. Okay, excuse my speech but sometimes my mind goes into sixteenth century mode. Granted, they spoke like that for hundreds of years but that century comes to mind because I like the history of Elizabeth I of England. She was quite the woman.

Now my mind is wandering to Marie Antoinette the French Queen. Okay, that could be debated because she was raised in Austria. I'm not sure about her birth, but because her mother was empress of Austria then my guess would be, yes, she was born in Austria.

Oh, what a tragedy she was, a pity too. Nothing like Elizabeth I. Completely different. Not that I know that much, just a basic concept in my mind. But I guess I might know a tiny bit more then the average person.
Ah, my mind wanders yet again to Anastasia Romanov, the last Grand Duchess of Russia. That's a sad story, but very interesting. I think I would have gotten alone with her, although I'd be more likely to get along with her sister, Mashka. Maria is her real name.

The intrigue of history! To think of the lives, all that happened that is lost to the ancient oaks of the forest. Although those tree's might be dead by now. But you never know.

Now I think of old houses and castles that still stand from some of those times. Of if their walls could speak, the knowledge of all the days past they could tell.

Alas, I seriously need to stop talking like this. It's getting a little weird now. :/

Besides, that's plenty history for today. Now it's off to try and find Kokopelli. He's been missing almost a day, out in freezing weather. I really am getting worried.

Been Away... Sorta

Yeah, I haven't been doing the best about keeping this blog up. But I'm here now, so hey.

NaNoWriMo is over, YES! I did it and it's amazing. Although I'm planning way more for next year. It'll be way easier then.

I'm writing a trilogy, awesome right? Yes and no. It takes a lot of planning, I mean I'm creating an entire world. Literally, an entire fictional world. This story has wars, politics, castles, dragons, EVERYTHING! So yeah, that's been a bit of work.

I actually started writing a story I started.... forever ago. It going pretty well.

Oh yeah, my NaNo was sixteen chapters long. That's big for me. It was a lot of work. As I had said before.

Can you tell my blog posts are going to be different form now on? Yeah, just speaking my mind.

OH YEAH, I cannot believe I almost forgot this, I saw FROZEN in theaters, it was amazing.

Now here's thing thing, it is a rare day indeed when you see ME at a theater. But get this, I'm gonna see it again on Sunday! For my birthday!

Yes, fellow invisible readers, that's right, I don't think anyone reads my blog, but that's fine. I just write it because it's fun. :P

Back to the other subject, yes, I am turning fifteen tomorrow. Wow, fifteen, that's....... old. No really it's pretty awesome because soon I'll be able to learn to drive. That'll be... interesting?

Okay, okay, here's something awesome to think about. I have over ONE THOUSAND followers on Pinterest. SCORE! That is just... I feel so accomplished.

Hehe, this new way of writing is fun. Maybe this shall prompt me to write more, would that be a change? Me, writing more then once in a blue moon.

I have, currently, seven story's I'm working on. Including editing my NaNo story and a short story that... might-ish be almost done... sorta. You never can tell, those slippery little things.

Yesterday and the day before I spent a bit of time cleaning my Google drive. It was a disaster! Okay, maybe in my mind. Now it's neat and tidy. Whew, now to keep it that way. :P

Oh yeah, recently I started watching Doctor Who. It. Is. Amazing. I love it so much, we, meaning my siblings and I, watched the entire first season in three days. That was epic. Now, somewhat unfortunately we have to take things a bit slower.

Did I mention I love Sherlock? New season, January 19, save the date! Haha, Sherlock is awesome, although why in the show they make him so... what's the word. Heartless? I mean, in the show he's still awesome, the cliffhanger was soooo sad. :'( But in the books he and John always get along. Oh well, the show is still awesome.

Oh yeah, I also in theaters was Thor 2. Another rare occasion, but I just had to see it. It was so worth it. Amazing. That's all I can say.

Oh, I saw the Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer, oh my gosh I cannot wait! Another occasion to go to the theater, a choice I made right after seeing the first one. (Not in theaters, thank you.)

I could ramble on forever, but the opportunity to watch Doctor Who is too good to pass up. Farewell, aloha, and watevah. See ya'lls next time.

What I've been up to

I'm back to make another post. As usual I'll say what I've been doing, reading, building with Lego's- OH! I almost forgot, on Sunday I bought a Lego set I've been saving for up for for a couple of months. It's huge and so awesome because its one of the Kingdom's sets, which I'm collecting. It's called Kingdoms Joust.

Here it is! Along with this set I have the Medieval Market Village, Prison Carriage Rescue and Dragon Knight Prison.
Yup, pretty awesome. Because it cost over $75 I got a free Volkswagen mini build, I totally wasn't expecting that!

Yesterday the second episode of the Yoda Chronicles aired. It's been months and I mean literally months, since the last episode.  Kind of weird, but who cares. At lease they're making them. They're so funny, Tiana, Daniel and I love them. :) There's two others, The Padawan Menace and The Empire Strikes Out. They're all like parody's of the Star Wars movies. :)

The last few days I've really been putting effort into one of my stories. Really I've not gotten that far, I just can't seem to find that sweet spot that allows me to write pages and pages non stop. But I will find it, that I know.

I've been listening to music by the Piano Guys lately, their music is so good! I love their song Desert Symphony. So inspirational, I can picture exactly what's going to happen in my book when I listen to it.

Okay, Daniel is whispering everything I write. It's kind of weird. Now he's laughing, and I'm sure he's going to find a spelling mistake soon. He always does. :)

I guess that about sums up what I've been doing lately. Until next time, you'll have to wait. >:-)

Long Time No See

Me doing one of my many hobbies, reading!
I'm back and better then ever!
Finally, after a while of absence I'm posting! I've never kept up with any of my old blogs very well so I'm striving to do better with this one!
Let's start off with a general news update! Like this, on Pinterest I have 93 followers, I"m almost to one hundred! I think it would be awesome to have as many followers as my sister Sereina. Lucky her, a quarter of a million people are following her! Plus just the other day I found out my friend has 6 thousand followers. I'm happy to have almost reached one hundred. :)
Another thing, I've been doing a bit of reading recently, mostly the Royal Diaries series. One of my favorite books in that series is Anastasia. I also love reading Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew, though I prefer the Hardy Boys. :)
The other day I was working on one of my stories. Getting the whole plot down, which is very vague at the moment. It's my first try at fantasy and so far it's been a lot of fun coming up with characters who aren't human. That's the fun part about fantasy, it just like, free style!
Me on the way to the beach. We got root beer!
It's just dawned on me (okay, I found a picture that reminded me) that we've gone to the beach a bit! As usual the ocean water is freezing but it was fun! The first time Daniel and I dug a big hole and there was a friendly seagull. Mostly we just hung out that day, relaxing and enjoying the sun. Most everyone got sun burned except me. I'm always very careful not to be in the sun too long. :)
Me attempting to feed a friendly seagull. He actually ate from my hand!
The second time we went with friends and dug two even larger hole and made a trench between them! It was a lot of work, we were pretending to be ship wrecked pirates. The funnest part was pretending to have accents. I can never keep a consistent accent so I start with an Australian accent, then it goes to Russian and then British! Some times a little Scottish will work its way in there too! (Just to be clear I mean accent's not languages. I only speak English and Rubbish.) Those times at the beach were really fun and was one of the rare times we actually got wet up to our necks! We discovered part of the beach had smooth sand! To some that may be normal but in Washington most beaches (at least that I've been to!) are really rocky. This was a nice change and another plus, less sea weed. I really do not like sea weed. It's just, weird. :) While in the water one of our friends, Michael, accidentally did a face plant in the water! And he found a Han Solo toy figure floating around! Yup, Summer is awesome!
My brother and sister (Tiana and Daniel) are working on a new blog. It's going to be about the lives of our Lego George Lucas'es. I'd tell more but the blog should be up and running in a day or so. I can say though their lives are adventure filled and not exactly what you'd expect. :)
Me adding crumbled stone for better effect
One thing I'm not looking forward to is this, some time last month I went to the dentist. They're great people but the whole thing of going to the dentist isn't very fun. Anyway, I got the news that I've got a cavity that needs drilling. And soon because it's moving into another tooth. I'm not really looking forward to that but on that day I get home made jello!
Well that about sums up things of late, oh wait! One more thing, I'm a collector of Schleich and I love building stuff. Put that together and ta da, I'm building things for my Schleich. But, back to the point, A week ago (has it really been that long?) I started building one of my largest projects ever. The ruins of a light house for my pack of wild dogs to reside in. The entire top has slid off and part caught on fire! Of course I'm building it that way so it's very sturdy. I've completed the tower, which by the way is made of rock, and soon will be starting on the side house part. I could use a little break though, the process in which I build can get confusing some times. :)
Tiana and me wading out in the lake
A very wet couple of sisters
How could I forget one of the highlights of this month?! I almost forgot, you see our family one evening went for a walk. Well, more like a very small hike. Any ways, the path was along Lake Washington and we kept seeing tiny "beaches" along the path. Finally a clearing could be spotted ahead. It looked like a great place to swim! The problem? We were in our clothes, but in the end that didn't stop us! I usually don't get wet in my clothes but after testing the water I couldn't resist. After going to the ocean and feeling the freezing water this felt so awesome! Tiana and I took the plunge and it was so fun! We dunked under water, rode a few waves. Which by the way, considering it's a lake it had a lot of big waves. Like bigger then at the ocean. :) I have to say it was awesome, we didn't want to leave but eventually we had to. But hey, now we keep going to Silver Lake to swim. Which is like a five minute drive from our house.
All in all, life has been good. Real good. 8-)

Happy Fathers Day!

First of all Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there! :)

This Fathers Day turned out very nice. First everyone gave their cards and gifts. Because it was really nice we went on a bike ride, although Sereina and Mamma stayed home because they didn't feel super good. Along the ride a lot of people passed us and I was beginning to wonder if there was some sort of marathon being run when about twenty riders passed us. When we got to the park I was somewhat stunned, yes there was a marathon and there must have been over a hundred people there! Not counting the people who kept on riding to finish up the marathon. We stopped a while at the check point, Daniel racing to the park, and Tiana, Daddy and I eating and resting in the shade. I don't know what temperature it was but seeing as I was bike riding and I didn't melt (that happens around 75, 80 degrees) then it must have been around 70.

When we got home what was waiting but some butterscotch cookies and peach cobbler, and it was gluten free! *squeel of delight* I'm so close, you see, I haven't eaten any gluten this year (if you don't count dreams where I eat it and freak out!) because I'm doing a test to see if I'm allergic. Sure, I could get a blood test but I absolutely cannot stand needles. I'm putting off blood tests until it's absolutely necessary! Anyways, I try gluten on July 1st.

Because it was nice out we got a fire going in out semi new fire pit! The best part was during the fire it started to thunder, I love thunder. In many ways it's so mysterious, loud noised coming from nowhere. I like to write and something about thunder storms are so inspirational.

Lastly to end the day we watched T.V. before bed. As everyone made their way to the their rooms I noticed Doji on the back deck, walking toward the sliding glass door. He was walking bow legged with something stuck on his back left paw. I let him in and after scooping him up discovered he had one of those stick rat traps on his foot! (At first I though it was for bugs, I didn't know there were things like that for rats!) Anyway, Doji didn't like us pulling it off his foot, I'm guessing it hurt because it was pulling at his fur. Some how he managed to get it stuck on his entire back foot, not just the padding of his paw. Of course there was sticky stuff all over his foot and in order to get it off we had to soak his foot in water. I've never seen him look so scared, even when he was at the vet before he never looked quite like he did when his foot got wet.

Indeed, this will be a Father's Day to remember

Writing Stuff

Well, I though I'd talk a little about one of the books I'm working on. This one is currently called Ghost Train and in case you didn't guess I'm trying to come up with a better name. :) Here are some concept pictures I pinned to Pinterest. It's going to be a novel and maybe a series or trilogy so I need to keep all this stuff together!

Below is a picture of the main character, Nora. Basically this helps me know what she looks like. I'll let you know little about her, she works at a museum and is 19-20 years of age.
Not my picture

Now because this novel is going to include a lot of history I need pictures of  things like this dress for reference. For this novel I'm going to need to know a lot about late 1800 life.
Not my picture

Here is just a photo that might inspire something. Plus I like the over all atmosphere, no busy city's.
Not my picture

Lastly a picture of an old general store. In this story people are going on a train riding vacation and will stop in an old ghost town. At lease for now, everything can change when writing a novel.
Not my picture

That about sums up the basic story setting. I'll reveal move in another post, and possibly a prologue I've been working on. Of course other then the main plot things will be changing so nothing is hard set.

And that's the end of another post! :D

What I've Been Up To

Well, nothing amazing has happened lately and though it hasn't even been a week I feel like posting.

I've been drawing about one picture a day and just yesterday (or was it the day before?) I completed my first full body drawing of a wolf or dog. I haven't decided yet. :) I think it turned out really well, especially considering it was my first full body drawing. Then I was sorta messing around and I drew a close up of a wolf howling. I added stripes and made it a tiger wolf and now it looks like a hornless elk. :P

Yesterday and today Daniel and I watched a Nancy Drew blind play through on YouTube. Of course it was done by the well know Arglephumph who does walk thorough's of all kinds. Not only does he play the game but he does the funniest commentary along with it. He's done every Nancy Drew game and keeps up with all the new ones too. Michael Gray, the guy who does all this, was even offered a job as a game tester by Her Interactive the Nancy Drew game people. But he didn't feel it was time to move to Seattle. (Yes, these games are made near where I live! :D)

I guess that about all I have to say for now, until next time!

Up and Running!

Well here I start a blog! I haven't done blogging for a few years so it has and will take a while to master the tricks of the trade. :) Seeing as I just started I'm not sure what to post so I'll just give a general update as to what I've been doing.

Writing, I really like writing. I'm currently working on one novel, one story and research for yet another idea. Just because I listed three doesn't mean I don't have many other ideas! Over the years I have started at least 20 stories and didn't finish them. Of course that doesn't mean I got very far, some are only a paragraph long.

About a week ago I picked up drawing. Having not done much drawing for a year or two I didn't expect much. But since I'm now using reference pictures my drawing has improved greatly! Of course I use coloring sheets and screen shots from animated movies for reference but that's the way I like to draw.

I obviously cannot forget that I'm just overcoming a cold. Sorta, I'm still coughing a bit but overall I feel a lot better then yesterday and the day before.

Well, I guess I'll continue watching Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi. The Battle of Endor is already raging, the Rebels are barely holding out until their attack on the second Death Star and Luke is meeting his destiny. I'll bet you can't tell I like Star Wars. ;)
